made a right hand turn onto the highway today and just felt like gunning it to 75. they dont pick up too well in low rpms which is somthing i hate about them. the tourque isnt too great. but when these 3.8s get in higher rpms these things move! i mean they really have potential i just wish they weren't so damn heavy! btw mines an 02 3.8 a4 camaro. my cars basically stock just a 160 degree thermo and a k & n airfilter. iam impressed with the 160 degree thermo bc my car doesnt even get over 190 degrees just with putting in the thermo still havn't gotten the manual fanswitch. it used to get up to 210 or more very quickly when i had the stock 195 degree thermo. if these cars weren't so damn heavy and came with higher gears they would be pretty damn quick stock.

For a quick power adder, install Nitrous.

If you have the money, do headers, high flow converters and a K&N intake.

0-40 not crazy about 40-100 pulls pretty damn good. you can feel its potential and mines basically stock. the engine feelings like it just wants to fly out of the car lol. all this weight just stops it from going faster. iam definantly going to do some weight reduction soon. i remember just taking out the spare tire and jack made quite a difference in accelertation. but i put it back in cause i got worried i may get a flat and its my daily driver so yea.. but i'll eventually take it back out. i need my second car.

I noticed a difference without the spare and jack as well...I left mine out...Im actually gunna pick up one of those foam spray things and place it in its spot...you can spray inside your tire to seal up any holes and drive for a few hundred km's on it...it'll get you to your mechanic so they can patch it up...if I get a major blow out...I got CAA...both are much lighter then the two...I plan on deleting the A/c very soon as well...compressor and its components weigh about the same as the spare and jack, and it will be off the front end, so its gunna be a beauty...plus I never use the A/c anyways, and it doesnt work...I rather role with the windows down...

Please don't use fix-a-flat. That stuff is terrible. It will spray all over the guy fixing your tire.

I had some ******* tailgating me on the highway... i was going 75 or 80 in the left lane. So I moved over for him when i got a chance. He flew past me... and then slammed on his brakes and swerved over to the shoulder.
He had obviously used that stuff, and it exploded on him. There was bright green **** all over the side of his car.

hahahah...well Im not sure if it is called fix a flat...You should tell the guy fixing you tire that you used it because they will need to dismount the tire, clean it all out, patch it, then mount her up again...

secondly...that was that guys own fault...when you have that stuff in, or a spare tire on for that matter...you shouldn't be doing much more then 100 (62mph)...and it shouldnt be for a sustained amount of time if you can avoid it...he was going faster then 75 or 80 when he passed you...he was asking for it...

I used fix a flat once :o Kept making the tire out of balance after it sat for awhile.. clears up after a mile but when I brought my car in to get it fixed properly I told them about the goo. They didn't tell the mechanic that was doing it though and he had a hell of a time trying to balance the damn thing till I went back there and told him. That nasty crap is useless.
