I know with the New Year coming up, many of you will be drinking and partying. If you do get drunk, please don't drive.
I got a call last night from my in-law. My dad in law told me that my wife's cousin was killed by a drunk driver. Nothing happen to the drunk, ofcourse, but my wife's cousin is dead. This drunk decided to have an early New Year party, got drunk, and decided to drive. My wife's cousin was going home from work. The drunk was speeding, ran a red light and hit his car. Instantly killing him.
His name is Lance Shetler, 37 years old, very good man. Went to a Christian School, and graduated from a Christian College with honors. You will never hear this man cuss, swear at someone, or even talk negative about anyone. He doesn't even drink or smoke; he has no bad habits. He is a true 110% good man, and a God fearing man. He will take his shirt off his back for you, it doesn't matter if he knew you or not. He is that nice and upright. I never meant anyone as nice as him. He truly is a good example for everyone.
He moved to Dallas, Texas in order to give his two little boys and his wife better opportunities. Why, because Calif. sucks big time when it comes to achieving your American Dream of owning a house and living a good life. Sorry to say that their dreams have come to an end.
Please pray for Lance and especially pray for the family he left behind.
