I had an Aircat, but I cracked the frame when re-tightening the inlet. I attempted to weld it, but even on my welders lowest setting (using aluminum wire), it burned a hole straight through the aluminum frame of the gun.
I'd like to find a 1/2" (pneumatic) Impact Gun with over 600 ft.lbs.
My 1/2" gun is an older Matco one. It's strong and you can't break it, but it's heavy as hell. I also have a 3/8" Snap-On gun with a magnesium case. It's capable of 300 ft/lbs and weighs less than 3 lbs. I love that gun. If you can afford it, definately try to get one with a magnesium case. Ingersol Rand makes a really good one for an affordable price.

Funny, I was just looking at that exact Impact Gun on ebay. A guy is selling a brand new one there for $106 shipped. I don't mind spending the money, as long as it has the torque I need.
I'll have to take a swing by Home Depot today and check out some of the Husky Guns.

Thanks!
husky guns suck from my experience
my 40 year old impact gun works better than my fairly newer husky one
I got all my Husky air tools when I bought my 28gal compressor Husky(it was all a kit from HomeDepot), I haven't had any problems with them, their heavy as f&ck though. Only thigh I haven't used from the set is the spayer. But I can't compare my Huskies to any other air tools. Well except to my Dads mechanics tools , but they were all snap on I think , so that wouldn't be a fair comparision. But as along as they keep working I won't buy any others, they get the job done.

I went to Home Depot and looked at the Husky Guns, but I really wasn't impressed. Besides, the strongest 1/2" pneumatic gun they had sitting on their shelf was only rated at 275 ft.lbs.

yeah, i got that kit a few years ago, and everything seems cheap
Really? I have'nt had any problems with mine, even when we did the spring swap on the heads still on the car, didn't drop a valve. When I was more active and used it alot on my car I never had problems with it. I used it some when I did my P/P on my heads and intakes last year and it was fine. I know you can't use it alot with certain tools , I just go by the rating it has on top which says which tools it can handle and what stress it puts on the compressor.

i use an ingersoll rand at the shop, and i have a blue point (sold by the snap on man, same as snap on, you just arent paying for the name.)

I like snap on, I used alot of them when I use to go down to my dads shop, seemed like all the GM mechanics used snap on everything. Maybe because the snap on truck shows up every week at the shops.LOL, but if a mechainc broke or had problems with a tool they would replace it right there, good customer service.

yeah, i mean, its fine, but i guess for my uses, i would need something bigger.
i did run the crap out of it this summer trying to sand down a hood to paint it black, still never finished that one

I've had a bad experience with snap-on due to our dealer.. that guy is a..... special guy.
But I did buy an IR titanium 1/2 from him and I do love it. It freakin keeps up with all the other huge half inch snap on impacts my co-workers use. And it's got a smaller frame for tight places.
Just don't over oil it. Mine was locking up on me which I'm pretty sure was due to over oiling. Seriously, just 2-3 drops. No problems with it since.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
