Hey a friend of mine has a bug like that one. his is wicked fast too.
TKO i wont dog you on your build, in fact id like to see how it turns out. ive got my V8 Camaro and also a 3.4 Camaro that needs alittle more umf to it.
First off, i'd like to know where you got so many awesome friends from?
Secondly, "wasting time" is a matter of perception on what the intended goal is.
Just cuz u got 2 v8's doesn't mean you can blow smoke up my you know what.
Keep in mind, v6's are cheaper to build up than v8's, generally speaking of course.
like i said, im not calling YOU out and saying you are wasting time on it.. go for it, if oyu want to do it, thats great.
im just saying that me personally would never spend money on the v6
and i wouldnt really say building a v6 is cheaper than a v8.. in reality, rebuilding a v8 should be way cheaper due to the amount of aftermarket parts available for it
when someone can build a 700hp v6 that is n/a for under $6,000 is when i will be impressed
Keep in mind, v6's are cheaper to build up than v8's
You are COMPLETLEY wrong.
Aftermarket companies that make parts for V6's are slim to none (especially for 3.4's) .... Companies that make V8 parts are everywhere and have to compete with each other, and offer low prices.
The only reason you say that, is because you own a v6 and your stupid. (not stupid for owning a v6, but thinking that)
When I owned a V6, I knew damn well V8's were much cheaper to build and much more worth it.

Max. Chill. Its a motor. Do what you like, and dont let others opinions influence you. Those v8 thugs...at least one of them have been around for a while.

my grandma has been around for a while? whats your point? This guys a jerk and if he's been around for a long time all that says is he's been a jerk for a long time.
Andy, it's funny whose side i always see you take in these matters.....
I don't take anyone's side. I'm not saying what others say is right. What I'm saying is for once why don't you just be the bigger person and let it go? You're not going to change how they think or stop them from saying anything, so responding is only adding fuel to the fire.
Hot rodding is hot rodding. It's taking what you got and trying to get the most out of it. I owned an 88 stang with a paxton supercharger on it before my 3.4 camaro. The fun is to take a motor with hardly any after market parts and build it up to beat out some v8's. I've beat z28's,stangs and a camaro ss and my next goal is to run down some 12 second evo's and wrx's all with my little 3.4. Leave the kid alone and like he said go to a v8 forum you illegal aliens. Rock on 3.4 brother.
So my truck is finally getting some work done, after 17 years, Oil pressure sensor went out and it’s located under the lower intake manifold. Have to...
