Dont get me wrong, because Im sure I sound like a total a-hole.. I dont think its okay for your car to be broken into and someone try and steal your radio but for you to get into a high speed chase, endangering other peoples lives and risking your own.... Is stupid.

If you would have just called the cops (which they wouldnt have done anything nor would they have been able to catch the guy) you would have had to replace, a radio, and maybe a window if they broke that out...

Now youll be replacing the car, or most of it. :twak:

emotions get the best of you in times like this...you're adrenaline goes and its fight or flight....in the end we can all say the smart thing to do is to back off and call the cops...I know that is the smarter thing to do...would I still get engaged in a chase with him....most likely...but thats my adrenaline taking over and me making a poor decesion...I know thinking about it now...but if I was faced with that situation before, I can gurantee I would be going after the guy...

Sometimes we do tend to do things that are stupid. We all do it. I remember these kids (late teens or early twenties) flipping my wife because she honked at them for stopping too long on a green light. Why I started screaming at them for dissing my wife and I literally wanted to jump out of the car and go at them, but my wife stopped me. Now if my wife didn't stop me I would have probably looked stupid trying to get into a fight right in the middle of a heavy traffic.

thanks guys and yeah i know that it was a dumb *** move to go after them but as some of you have stated it was the adrenaline, and no my t-tops were not off thus the breaking of the window, and ill be putting my money into my mach 1 instead of rebuilding the car :( so no more f body for me at least for a while ...

Yeah... this is why you shouldn't do what they do in the movies. But you've already realized this by now. No need to rub it in more. Sorry to hear about this. Especially since you just finished the appearance aspect of the car.
