You really need to just shut up at this point. For your own integrity.
considering another gm car i have gets a CEL about the coolant temperature not being warm quick enough, and looking it up numerous times, im pretty safe to say that i dont need to shut up, because it is NOT just the 02 sensors.
I suggest you buy a real scanner and watch when the PCM goes into closed loop. If the engine doesn't warm up in the allowed amount of time it will set that code. That description doesn't say the ECT has anything to do with the PCM entering closed loop.

well, im sorry that every code website interperates the code wrong
"This means that the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor indicates that the engine has not reached the required temperature level to enter closed-loop operation within a specified amount of time after starting the engine."

Gee, and all this time i thought it was referred to as a SES Light or a MIL.

The time allowed for the ECT to reach closed loop enable is 2 minutes. In cold area's (Canada) it can be set as high as 5 minutes. The temp it has to reach in warm area's is 58 * F. The 2 minutes is way more time then it needs to get there.
