Road Trip

My mother is in town visiting this week so yesterday we took a drive from Miami to Marathon Key. About 250 miles round trip. It was a beautiful day and a great drive. The Firebird was flawless, my mom really enjoyed it. For those that are not familiar with the Florida Keys, they make for beautiful driving.

We stopped along the way to take pictures and I was amazed at all of the nice compliments my car received. It was really cool. People were walking right up to it and then telling me how nice my car looked.

When I got home I filled up the gas tank and I actually got 26.5 MPG!!!!!!!!!!! Awesome....:rock:

I was all throughout the keys back in June of '07, and I'm going back this coming June.

Flying into Key West for 1-1/2 weeks, doing some serios drinking at Irish Kevin's, a skydiving trip, big-game fishing and scuba diving over the Coral Reef. Heading down with 6 of my bud's.

Absolutely awesome! When I retire, I'm moving somewhere along the keys...without a doubt! with or without the wife too :naughty:

I took my Camaro from Oklahoma City to Norfolk. I came close to 31mpg until I was in the mountains. Drove like a dream, just a bit bumpy in some parts.

yeah i drove mine about an hour to the east side of atlanta, about 2 weeks ago. she ran great i was very impressed. and i got like 28 mpg!
