why? this movie takes place before arnolds model was even created

this is the beginning of the war and 6 years before the cyberdyne 800/850 series model 101 , which arnold is, was perfected and optimized for use{T1 & 2 arnold is a 800 series model 101, T3 he is the 850 is an advanced robot}....you will see the beginning terminators which is the 600 series in salvation

ok, i'll give it to you that you have your facts straight, and given the plot line, he won't necessarily fit into it, but if you ask me, he made the movies. Without him, the movie just doesn't seem as appealing. It's taking the main character out of a series after 3 movies, I hate it when series do that.

I though T3 (rise of the machines) blew! Now, they're just beating a dead horse...just like Jaws 3 +, rocky 3 +, caddyshack 2, etc.

ive seen the trailer b4 and i like it, Arnold was the main character and all but john also is since he's suppose to be the savior and all, based on the trailer it seems good. Who knows they might bring him back later on when he is created (but it wouldnt make much sense since he just gets sent back).

huh.. guess sky net was never stopped. t3 did blow. it looked like a low budget film. T4 doesnt look bad at all.. I always wanted to see a termin. movie in the future instead of the present with blips of the future.. arnold will never be in movies while he is in office.. I cant wait. I just popped my blu ray virginity a few days ago... I cant stop buying blu ray movies. lol

I think it'll be ok aslong as they STICK to the plot of the stories... has to be better than "the day the earth stood still"...

From what I've read arnold will make a small cameo in the film and this is also the start of a new trilogy for the terminator seriers.

You really know your stuff. I'm glad you put it into perspective. This is just like Star Wars. The current 3 ones that Lucas made was a pre-sequel to the other 3.

Arnold is too old now. They should use this guy:




Roland Kickinger is an unknown actor he makes mostly b-movies. I think he woud be an excellent replacement for Arnold. Besides he looks like him and he has a German/Austrian accent too.
