crashed the ss/sc

on my way home today at like 2:30 PM was on a off ramp on the pa turnpike. there was black ice under 2 inches of snow. i was going about 15 mph when the car started to skid out. there was a concrete on my pass side . the car started to pull towards it while doing a 180. i was able to hold it just long enough to pick where the car would hit. i got it to hit right by the driver side headlight and chevy symbol. that way i didn't kill the whole front end and i did no damage to the hood or fenders. all in all not too bad. i'm so happy that no one was around so i didn't look stupid lol jk so i didn't hit them

i need a front bumper, grill and just head light. might be able to save the headlight since the only thing that is busted on that is a bolt bracket. oh well i'm not ticked. gonna start looking for the pieces i need but am in no hurry since i'm not going to put her back together till spring anyways. y risk another acc. in winter.

Glad to hear you were not hurt. Doesn't look too bad. I remember from my NY days just how bad black ice under snow was. :eek:

Uuuhhhh, what's black ice? snow? LOL. Oh yea, we had snow down here in Houston back in december. and 4 years ago, and 14 years before that. I've seen it.

So sorry to hear that. I'm glad you're OK. It's hard to believe there's snow in alot of states, while here in Calif. is 85*. I got the AC on.

It's doesn't look to bad though. The insurance should be able to fix that up in a jiffy.
