  • Revisiting My 2002 LS1 SS

It's the dead of winter, an ice storm is headed my way soon. Decided to fire up the SS for a leisurely cruise along the southern CT coastline. This felt as good as several icy cold beers in August.
Im content now as this was my first drive in 2009 and escaped winters imminent wrath. Forecast calling for an icy mess along the I-95 corridor.
You'll see cardboard on the garage floor as I'm possibly debating an epoxy floor or throw the cash towards my '88 IROC Z28 motor come late spring or summer. Anyways, here it is still looking gorgeous as a rare gem. SLP Camaro car cover coming very soon! http://www.slponline.com/view_produc...60&BIG=08960-1

      Hi Gixxer :wavey:

These beautiful Camaros rolled out from GM's St. Therese plant in Canada in 2002. Bet you're proud to be a part of classic GM muscle way up north of me.

The Oshawa plant in Ontario Canada are manufacturing the 5th Gen Camaros in your country. I wish I lived nearby to work in a GM designated facilty to build one or be a part of the assembly line! :p

Re: Revisiting My 2002 LS1 SS

I got 6 inches total accumulation before the rain washed some of it off my V6 sitting outside.

"Rebadged base coupe SS V6"? LoL !
Love the funny comments, keep it coming. I didn't mean to fan the flames of SS passion but I sure do miss the warmer temps with the T-tops off.

Archer, I saw your Z28 post earlier. That Z28 reminds me of the old racing adage " Speed costs money, how fast can you afford to go?" So true!
