I hate to say it, but I haven't seen much in the burgh that even compares to Ohio/Michigan. I always thought that it was my Camaro that made the roads here feel rougher than they actually are. I'm driving an Accord right now, and it is just as bad. Getting tossed around.


me and all my buddies piled into 4 SUVs last night and drove out into the middle of nowhere to go mess around. 3 of the SUVs were nice jeeps. The one I was in was a Bravada. We were flying through these back roads that hadn't been plowed at all. The kid driving was getting sideways through every curve. I honestly thought I was going to die.

I've probably been spoiled from this suburb that I stick to. I can admit that, but I haaaaaaaaaate to hurt my car and these potholes feel like I'm taking a baseball bat and just goin at it to my suspension and tires.

put it this way.. 3000 miles ago was around sep/october for me i made a post saying how my car has 130k miles on it, and the shocks were perfectly fine

after the first few snow falls, the roads have completely went down the drain, and in the past month or so my shocks have went from being great to me almost being deathly afraid of driving my car because they are shot

yeah, well we have BLIZZARD conditions heading our way right now... KY and TN always gets ice storms, but I guess this past one was pretty serious.. national guard was activated.

and for people here in ohio driving in the snow.. haha, i watched a special about the 77-78 blizzard. it said and I quote " people in ohio have adapted to driving in snow"... I dont think I ever laughed so hard. people around here see snow in a field and the roads are clear, yeah 30 mph under the speed limit.. worse if a snow flake falls in front of them.. they act like their car will flip... People here go STUPID when it snows..

But yeah I'm hoping that blizzard stays south (sorry guys in south) but I cant afford to miss any more work, snow comes, tickets drop... and I just got all the damn ice and snow out of my drive... lol

the storm isn't coming as high as they thought so its not even gonna touch ohio now.. more to the east..
