Nice , I forgot about the Civics, I think Robert is a dual type fart can guy, so maybe a nice big 1" pipe split off in the rear for a second fart can for twice the perforamnce. That will be way quicker then any F body V6 for sure.

Friend had a late 90's Cavalier Z24 and he put a single in/out Flowmaster muffler. Talk about the loudest and lamest soundest thing you would ever hear, but it was fun to drive! haha. I loved how he revved it eveywhere and he took it off a few curbs.
You all are missing the point. The 5.3L switches between V8 and V4. This car has power AND fuel economy. Looking for a road car - for trips.
I say go for it, what color are you looking at, Robert ?

in my opinion, it comes down to what kind of whip you want to drive. I think the interior of any camaro/firebird is lame and plain, and could use some fancy work to stimulate good looks.
in other words, if your choosing another ride, go for what your mind sees you comfortably driving (realistically). If the monti is on your brain then pursue one that has all the bells and whistles.
I wont lie, i will definately "invest" in a whip that leans towards my affordable specifications> biofuel/hybrid/gas, >you should think "A-broad" and go with whatever spikes your inhabitions.
