UPDATE

Well I signed today, on a different SS.

Both cars were silver, but one had cloth, the other leather interior - and the leather was CHEAPER! Guess which one I bought.

Take delivery tommorrow.

What did you get Impala SS? With Black leather.

Yes, 2006 silver Impala SS 5.3L, w/ very light gray leather, power EVERYTHING.

It's amazing how much of the time the engine is in V4 mode, but hauls a** when I "stomp" it and the V8 mode kicks in.

All honestly... I would look at something with a 3.6L and a 6spd auto...

the FWD 5.3 isn't common so some parts "might" be a little oddball and not as cheap. How do the trannies hold up on it. G8 is nice but I have a strong feeling nowhere near the pricerange.


Road in, I forgot what... I don't think it was a Monte SS, but had the 5.3L FWD, it was peppy, but didn't feel fast.
