whats up everyone havent posted in a while, well my heads are gone again. this is the second time this has happend and well my question is, there this guy who wants to buy my camaro for 1500 grand he sais his uncles has a wrecked lt1 an
whatn to drop the engine on it. do you think its a good price or should i fix it and sell it?
1997 rs, leather interior very clean and well taken care of red. the original engine had bearly 100,000. then the heads craked. replaced it with an engine the roughly had 85,000 same thing happend heads craked due to an undetected radiator leak small. car in great condition paint is well taken car of interior is very good condition.
well, you have already done an engine swap, find another used motor, put it in, fix the radiator leak, then sell the car for 3500...
Team NoVa
2000 Firebird- Intake, Pacesetters, !cat, full 2.5 to flowcrapster, 1.9 rockers, LS6 springs and Intense modded retainers, WS6 speedlines, T/A bumpers and hatch, 5 spd swapped, SOON TO BE nitrous'd and cammed.
I'd drop in another 3800 for, what, 500 bucks and sell it for 3 grand at least... sounds like a clean car otherwise and just a leather interior is worth like $500 by itself...
put another motor in it, and hold onto it.
unless you need the money. drop a $500 -/+ motor in it and sell it for a bit more. there is always someone out there willing to pay a bit for a good looking/ shape car. I paid $4000 out the door for my 2000 v6 loaded... miles were a bit high, but I have a motor, trans, and pcm with 48k miles on it, so I wasnt too worried about it. other than a chip on the lip of the hood (I have a SS hood to replace) the car was in perfect condition after I replaced the speakers and figured out that the remote wire was tapped into the assy. wire and was draining my battery.
(btw, thanks guys found the problem with the dying battery)...
these care go for next to nothing anymore, but like any american muscle, the car someday will be worth something more...
