A. The term "full coverage" does not mean anything.
B. Without indicating policy limits and deductibles, it is like comparing the price of a Sentra to an Escalade - without identifying them.
C. City/State and rural v. urban have huge impact on premiums.
Thats definite....
My rates went down $200 per 6 months just moving from Orlando to Daytona Beach.... only 65 miles away.
(I didn't include these savings in the great savings I listed before)
Progressive: $757.00 for 6 months (~$127.00/month) with full coverage and one non-at-fault accident on a 2008 Mustang (V6). I was about $116.00/month with full coverage for a 1998 Firebird before the accident. It doesn't really pay to have full coverage in New Jersey. The claim has been sitting in arbitration for about 4 months now. I'm still waiting for my $1,000.00 deductible (or whatever percentage they find the other guy at fault for).

I agree with that because like on mine it is full coverage 100,000/300,000 policy Comp/Coll. on the cars and 50,000 personal insurance on the house for extra contents. Also another good question is the car or policy in your name or your parents? That is another big factor and also who pays for it? Their are alot of younger people on here, I know I kept mine on my parents until I was 23-24 around there. To keep the rate down. Back then(96') I paid $150 a month no tickets full coverage(comp/coll.) $500 ded under parents name. If it was in my name it was $235 a month.

Here is mine: I'm 35 and my 3.8 96' Camaro is $35 a month with full coverage 100,000/300,000 coverage, $500 ded., No tickets/Accidents on record for 11 years with zero for glass replacement, have my wife's vehicle on there with the house coverage, it is through Progressive. my wifes 07' Saturn Vus is I think $65 a month full coverage100/300 like mine W/glass. This next time I'm going to add a 10,000 extra on the Camaro for replacement if it is stolen, with all my mods , so I'll at least get something back if it is stolen it is a extra $50 a month.

My insurance was $129/mo. Now when renewal comes up in April it's gonna be $149/mo. Why the $20 increase? Wish I knew. "Increase in cost of doing business in NY" was Progressives answer. Probably has to do with Paterson's asinine taxes.

And this is only for basic coverage.
Damm , that is high. I know NY was expensive but damm. We have Progressive too, ours is up in June will see if ours goes up too.

That was the same kinda of BS they gave me. Mine never went up more than $5 at a time though. Did that like 3 times and now it's back down to $90 something.

$5 maybe, but $20 a month?!? That comes to an extra $120 for the 6 months. It's complete BS. I ended up droping my coverage to minimum and it only took $10 a month off. I really need to get out of NY.
It's now official. Policy approved and on it way to me Monday. $174 / year.
It must be nice to get the Senior Citizen Discount.LOL J/K, Robert thats a great price, is that a weekend driver discount? Or is that just the Firebird and not the new car you got?

It's not a senior discount. :twak:
It's a COLLECTOR car policy. Can't be a daily driver.
Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
