    Re: Insurance rate?

Vermont is quite expensive and Progressive was one of the cheaper one's I found when I first got it. I'm hoping it goes down a good amount when I hit 25

Is that under your own policy or on your parents, $170 is kind of low for having a V8 and a V6 both considering their both sports cars?

        Re: Insurance rate?

I'm 20, and full coverage for my 00 is $129/month at USAA. I'm also military, so thats a factor too. On my birthday in July, my insurance cost plummets to about $79 according to the insurance people there.

Location where you live, credit history, driving record, mutiple vehicles/own home and if your on your parents policy. Also deductible, type of coverage amount like 300/100 and I think thats about it.

              Re: Insurance rate?

my fiance and I pay a total of $160 a month full coverage on both my 00 Camaro V6and her 02 Durango V8. she is 34 and Im 30. my driving rec. sucked when i was younger than 25. but then I started having children, in the military, deployed, the dangerous driving stopped. I've had over 30 some speeding tickets, 2 accidents that I was at fault, though it shouldnt have... ice is a *****. I have had my DL's suspended for missing traffic court... so that doesnt hurt me on my record..

with age my friend, your insurance will go down, I remember when i was 24 and I had my 97 RS. my insurance was out outrageous. I think I was almost paying $1800-2000/yr.

and it is sexist that females get cheaper insurance than males... ALOT of female drivers I have seen scared the hell outta me driving. Slapping on make-up, drinking a capp.. talking or even worse, TEXTING while driving... Crazy I tell ya...

damn, Im sounding like an old man.. HAHA.. what have I become!

It's my own policy. I get a clean driving record discount, a multicar discount, and discount for having my renter's insurance thru the same company
