Mine is down to around 2700-2800lbs, and still dropping(I need a 100lb driver to drive it at the track and I'll be set)LOL, just turbo your Camaro and be done. I would just by a honda with a turbo rather than drive a Miata, thats just me though(because I would never fit in one being 6'4 280lbs.)LOL. But to each there own.
I was like 125 last time I checked. I'd probably pee myself if I bumped into you.
I would drive a Fiero rather than a Miata, Fiero with the L67 engine= badass, but I still couldn't fit in one , so thats why I keep my Camaro. Are the Fiero's lighter or about the same as a Miata?
Fiero's are heavier. My GT weighs 2575lbs. I think 4 cylinder ones are like 2426lbs.
How tall are you? The guy I bought this from is about 6'2" and he fits OK. I know DAS BOOT or Coconut Pete is 6'5" and he fits in a Fiero, but his head was sticking out of the moon roof.

6'4" 280lb , so my head would be out the moon roof.LOL I thought theyed would weigh less than that.
08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake
96' Camaro M5 to A4 conversion, alot of mods . GT35R Turbo full suspension. Built engine
I knew men and women were like water and oil... but thats no need to cut off the only thing that makes us a man.. I mean come on... that wouldnt be nice.
It gets a bad rap for being a chick car but I rarely see women driving them. My plan is to drive it as a 4 cylinder until i get out of college and then I'll drop in a ls1/5.0. That way i get the good gas mileage when i need it and a car that will haul *** in the future. Not to mention it can turn and stop on a dime. It's such a well built car. And mazda's owned by ford so i wont feel toooo tooo bad driving it.
I definitely don't fit the miata owner stereotype though (i'm not gay). 6'4" card carrying member of the NRA and Vice-President of the U of M college republicans. Not to mention I HATE imports. Idk ive just got a special place in my heart for that little machine :)

Dang, you are a big guy.
A fiero consist of 273 steel frame stamped together and 30 space frame plastic. That's what made them heavy and that's why they are such a safe car for their size.
First gen MR2's had less than that, but their crash rating was horrible. But they were 120lbs lighter than the lightest Fiero version. 2nd gen MR2's got bulkier by weight close to over 200lbs than the heavy Fiero GT. It improved their crash rating.
A T-top Fiero is heavier than a monroof one and a monroof is heavier than a hard top.
how in the world are you big fellas fitting in these tiny cars?!? I'm 6'6 230lb and barely have room to drive the camaros...until the new mustang models came out i couldn't even drive my friend's supercharged '00 gt without my knees in the dash, and i've literally gotten stuck behind the wheel in tons of my friends' jeep wranglers, miatas, and even needed help getting out of a z06 and ford GT at a car show. wow, and i thought ppl looked at me like i'm crazy when i unfold out of my lowered '02...good luck cramming in and out of your little toy lol.
So my truck is finally getting some work done, after 17 years, Oil pressure sensor went out and it’s located under the lower intake manifold. Have to...
