You guys who keep saying it's heavy should know that the V6 Camaro is at 3800lbs. That's 500lbs more than our cars. And at 306hp it does 14.4-14.6 1/4 mile. That weight really hurts the car. The magazine haven't mentioned the V8's weight concretely, but it is said to be 4000lbs.

Those quarter mile times are almost comparable to the Hemi Challenger....
Not to mention its a one-tire-fire (no LSD)...

Sorry, but I think the new Mopar "muscle" cars (i.e. 300C, Magnum, Charger, Challenger) are not impressive. I will admit that the Challenger looks awesome, but performance-wise they fall way short. IMO: 5th Gen Camaro > New Mustang > Mopar "muscle" cars

they are heavy, not only in weight, but when you drive one it feels heavy. ill get the book and check the door plackard for GVW tomorrow.

must have been the srt8 6.1 liter.
the rt versions are kinda slow i think. low 14s high 13s in the 1/4
thats like lt1 speed, which is a 13+ year old motor haha
yep. i shoulda know haha i raced my friends gf's challenger r/t with my almost stock z28 lt1 and beat it...:D
so this came into the shop today, and they didnt want the lube-techs to eff it up so i had to change the oil on it.
its the hennessy edition of the challenger, the SRT600, number 2 of 50. puts down 600 whp and 585wtq. its a bad mother father.
