    OIL CHANGING INSTRUCTIONS

    WOMEN:

    1. Pull up to Jiffy Lube when the mileage reaches 3000 since the last oil change.

    2. Drink a cup of coffee.

    3. 15 minutes later, write a check and leave with a properly maintained vehicle.

    MEN:

    1. Go to autozone and write a check for 50 dollars for oil, filter, oil lift (AKA kitty litter), hand cleaner and scented tree.

    2. Discover that the used oil container is full. Instead of taking back to autozone to recycle, dump in hole in back yard.

    3. Open a beer and drink it.

    4. Jack car up. Spend 30 minutes looking for jack stands.

    5. Find jack stands under kid's pedal car.

    6. In frustration, open another beer and drink it.

    7. Place drain pan under engine.

    8. Look for 9/16 box end wrench.

    17. Buddy shows up; finish case with him. Decide to finish oil change tomorrow.

    18. Next day, drag pan full of old oil out from underneath car.

    19. Throw oil lift (AKA kitty litter) on oil spilled during step 18.

    20. Beer. No, drank it all yesterday.

    21. Walk to 7-11; buy beer.

    22. Install new oil filter making sure to apply thin coat of clean oil to gasket first.

    23. Dump first quart of fresh oil into engine.

    24. Remember drain plug from step 11.

    25. Hurry to find drain plug in drain pan.

    26. Hurry to replace drain plug before the whole quart of fresh oil drains onto floor.

    27. Slip with wrench and bang knuckles on frame.

    28. Bang head on floor board in reaction.

    29. Begin cussing fit.

    30. Throw wrench.

    31. Cuss for additional 10 minutes because wrench hit Miss December 1992.

    34. Beer.

    35. Dump in additional 4 quarts of oil.

hahaha...not bad...I just changed mine for the first time myself the other day...whatta diaster, I can relate to some of those lol...Bought the wrong size oil filter wrench...couldnt find the right size to take out the drain plug initially...ended up using the torque wrench...when I did finally get the oil filter out, I had the pan waiting underneath to catch the oil coming out...but stupid me fumbled the filter and dropped it in the oil splashing it all over me and the driveway...attempted to swap the summer tires over to the car while it was on the stands...completly forgot that I have yet to have the hubs of the rims with my new tires grinded down to fit the back axle...installed the old tires on the front first and torqued them to spec...then figured out SOB, I cant put the new ones in the back and have to swap them...that resulted in 10 mins of cussing...

so yea, nice find...made my day cause I can fully relate...and yes, I have dropped the car with the jackstands still left underneath!!!...but that was last year...

the joys of being a car enthusiast...

Step 11. doesnt make sense, the oil wouldnt be hot after sitting for 30-40 minutes while steps 2-10 were being completed.

                you guys kill me...

                Rum Cake

Before you start, sample the rum and check for good quality.
                Good, isn't it?

Now select a large mixing bowl, measuring cups, spatula, etc.
(Check that rum again for quality. It must be just right!
                Try it again.)

With an electric beater, beat one cup of butter in a large fluffy
bowl. Add one tsp. sugar and beat again. (Meanwhile, make certain
that rum is of best quality.)

Add two arge leggs and two cups of fried druit and beat until very
high. If fruit gets stuck in the beater, pry it out with a
drewscriver. (Sample rum again, checking for consistency.)

Next, sift in three (2) cups of paking bowder and add a pinch
of rum, one seaspoon of soda and one cupa papper...(or maybe
salt?) Anyway, don't fret, just taste that rum again. Good
                stuff.

Next, sift in a half pint of lemon juice, fold in chopped buttermilk
and strained nuts. Sample rum again.

Now, one bablespoon srown sugar, or whatever color is around. Mix.
                Well.

Grease your oven and turn cake pans to 360 degrees. Now, pour the whole
mixture into the oven ... (HONEY? WHERE'S THE MOP??)

On second thought, forget the oven, pitch the cake and check
the rest of the rum. Bo to ged.
