  • Tire fitment Questions

Ok. The Camaro i just bought is running 315/35/17 BFG Tubeless Drag Radials, they are on a 7x11 black ZR1 rim.

Im about to by new tires for the back, the ones on there are bald.

I saw these online, even though its on a mustang site, its just the tire. cheaper then ive found anywhere and the right size. But my question being would this tire, fit the rims i have?

    Tire

And what tires, if not that one, would you guys suggest to put on the back.

The front is running 275/45/17 Bfg i think. On a 17X9 Black ZR1 Rim.

yeah, that size tire is for 10.5-12.5 rim, so you'd be fine.
A lot of guys love their 555R's.
    I say go for it.

Well the car has bfg drag radials on it. The tires i just linked to said its made of softer rubber and will wear quicker. Do you think i should pick a stiffer tire, im not so much running these tires as drag radials all the time. They will be on the car 24/7. so should i go with the bfg drag radials or the nittos 555r.

The second tire is the one currently on the car. Should i stick with those or should i switch to the nittos.

If it is 24/7 Nittos will last longer. I have M.T. 275/40/17 drag radials but I keep them on seperate rims since they don't last long on the street esp. when it is hot out they will start to heat up and then start collecting rocks and whatever is on the road it wil pick up. This in AZ though where it is 115 temp with a road temp of about 140+. I think the Nittos will last longer just going by people who have had them.

          Re: Tire fitment Questions

those tires are possible on 9.5 rims yet fit better on 10.5 or 11'' rims. i had 275s all around on the v6. now i have some 315s for them

            Out of the two

            -The nitto 555r's
            -BFG drag Radials

which would you guys choose, that would last longer on the car everyday.
