Id just want this as a project truck, plus a sleeper etc..

Plus, if it ever came about, I could probably sell the truck for wayyy more than what I have into it.

            Or my duramax!

Full size crew cab 3/4 ton truck with a 9,200lb gvw , Programmed diesel, huge turbo and huge exhaust pouring smoke... Its quite the ride.

When Im accelerating at full boost you cannot even hear yourself think with a straight 5" exhaust from turbo back.

But im sure the SRT will be a totally different beast.

Stock... But how many cars at the track are stock?

I say it's badass right now as is. If you could get that together for 14k, that would be awesome. I rode in a lightning a while back...thing was awesome. That thing is even sweeter! I love those srt-10s

We have the 8.0L v10 in our truck, but it's a 6500 lb truck and has so much crap to limit the engine. i'd love to put some viper parts on it one day and see what it can do.

apparently i was vague... TRUCKS CAN BE FAST. im not talking about the srt 10 truck, im talking about modded trucks in general.

                      Re: Thinking about buying it...

Im not saying thats not a bad deal for a rolling chassis in some places but around here (northern al) there have been a few sell for a few thousand more with less than 100k on them perfect condition. I stopped and looked at one at a smaller used car lot one time and they wanted 18k for a black srt-10 ram with 57,000 on the odo...no joke. Noone around here wants them because of the horrid gas mileage they get.

I see that no one bid on it. Nice project if you have the time, space, money, tools and know-how. Personally, I would have bought one fully assembled and just modded it from there. That's just me though :D

It has been relisted about 10 times now, Ive had my eye on it for awhile.

Ive got the space, all the tools I could need, including a torch, welder, air compressor, hoist, fridge with beer, and the know how is easy.

Wheres the fun in buying a fully assembled project?

Also, find me a viper truck fully assembled with 30k miles for under 15 grand and ill buy it.
