update on my monro problem

first off, i would like to apologize for flipping out, i was pretty mad over the whole situation.

talked to them today, and they refunded me $12 for the valve stems, i had my fathers car, and it needs a new resonator installed (i was going to just put a straight pipe in)

anyways, they brought the car in for a quote, and they said they will install a new one on for $140 before taxes

after talking to them about the problem i had, i haggled a bit, and they are going to install it for $125 after taxes.. so in a way they refunded me my money, and gave me a deal for installing a new resonator.

so in a way i am paying $113 after taxes for the new resonator being installed, advance auto wants $80 for a new resonator and everything i will need to install it, so i am paying basically $33 for labor.. its not worth my time cutting up the exhaust and putting a straight pipe in and buying pipe, clamps, and adapters to install it.. which would cost me around $30.. so for $33 labor they can install it and save me the trouble and i can have it fully welded

sorry if my math stuff doesnt make sense

so all in all, i am a happy customer again, and i praise them for making my problem right and then some.

what happened, is one of the mechanics told me to call the manager back and tell him about doing it for $125 after tax, so i asked my father to call, he did, and the manager commented about how we were already getting a good deal, so he would call us back.

the mechanic said that the manager would go for the deal, but i guess he wouldnt, because i have not received a call yet.... it looks like they are going to lose my business because i will just do it myself

so what kind of car does your father drive ?

he drives an 02' impala
