I didn't know my insurance expired because I just pay it when its due and don't pay attention to anything else. As a matter of fact, I just got my payments back in the mail yesterday. lol Now I'm shopping for new insurance before these tickets show.

Also, I didn't see the cop. I looked around and it was clear. I didn't see him till about 1/4 mile past where I did the stop sign. He's lucky I pulled over at all, I couldn't hear his sirens over the exhaust!

I go to court next week for all the tickets I haven't called to see how much they will cost. I think once I hear that then reality will set in. But everyone's telling me that now in Texas you pay $150 a year for 3 years for no insurance. $250 a year for 3 years for no license, but I didn't get a ticket for that one. I guess I will see what happens next Friday.

Everyone's asking me how I'm so calm about it. Well, to be honest I knew what I was doing when I did it so I can't really be mad that I finally got caught. I'm just glad I didn't get caught the other day when I raced a Mustang GT and a GTO...now that would have sucked!!

we all dont do it, i rarely speed, unless you call going 1 mph over the speed limit speeding since i cant be 100% accurate with the gas pedal

G;ad i'm not the only one who got owned by the police this weekend. I was caught in a busts. They staked out this liquor store and saw me buy beer. Pulled me over took fake id, beer, and told me t bring my girl home. Then they **** clocked me later on.

Im not a fan of police right now.

sucks getting pulled over, and it just happened last Wednesday and i have court next thursday....sucks. Im still trying to find out what will happen in court, what the laws are over here for no insurance. some are obvious like 500 min fine but idk if its also mandatory 3 month license suspension and $100 reinstatement fee after the 3 months or your license is suspended until you can pay the 100 and have proof of insurance, oh and the possibility of sr22...guess ill find out im just nervous because i dont want my license taken away, the $$ part doesnt matter. damn im rambling a lot.

so what kind of evidence can i bring to show the judge i fixed the lights, would a picture be enough? im more worried about he no insurance since they got tougher on people over here about that.

If you have a reciept for parts for the lights and take pictures that have the date time on them fixed, insurance just get insurance on it and expain you didn'y know, just say you thought you paid for the insurance 6 months at a time and forgot to renew the 6 months. My wife and I pay 6 months at a time , saves $280 a year. Monthly fees add up month to month. As long as you show you have insurance when in court the judge is going to give you less of of a fine since you showed that you fixed everything and made the effort to get your insurance. The main thing is showing effort on whatever you got a ticket for. If you do nothing the judge is going to ask why didn't you do this and that and get pissed at you and fine you more, I have seen it here in AZ. Good luck and make sure you say sir or yes your honor when you speak to him.LOL

Thats good to know. You would be the MAN if you knew if points gotten in Ohio counted on a PA license though.
For some reason lately I've been driving like a retard. I NEVER speed in my camaro, mainly because I have gotten pulled over going UNDER the speed limit, so I know it attracts attention. For the past month I have been enjoying it though. Getting sideways around campus, etc. I should probably stop though. I almost drove straight into the concert hall earlier today. oops

$#!T happens...when i got my car running again after the engine swap with headers i was coming from muffler shop and i imy ttop slid off and shattered i was pissed and burned out after a light and got

1. " Unsafe Start" = Doing a burnout
2. Speeding. Wasn't too bad though. 45 in a 35.
3. Failure to prove financial responsibility a.k.a. No Insurance.
4. Expired Inspection Sticker. I can't pass inspection because I don't have any mufflers, need new tires, and the window tint is illegal.

5. a fifth ticket DIDNT HAVE DRIVERS LICENSE ON ME...
and almost GOT MY CAMARO IMPOUNDED.
i was ~17 years old about 2 years ago. cops chased me about 1/4 down and he ACTUALLY LET ME GO. HE TOLD ME GET OUT OF HERE I DONT WANT TO SEE U OR UR CAR :slap: :p
