Thats unfortunate man...I hate to hear that, glad the surgery went well...That would piss me off to, thats just bull****.

Makes me realize that I take our healthcare system for granted over here, and how that would all be covered by OHIP...I hope our system never changes. I mean people complain all the time about the waits and how it takes like 2 hours if you break your arm and go to the hospital to get an X-ray...but people dont look at the other side of things, that we could be paying through the nose for our healthcare.

Sickens me when I think about that... I hope everything works out for you guys.

^ Thanks, sorry to hear about your brother. That is really sad and I hate hospitals/insurance companies for making money off of good people. They now want to do the surgery on Wed./Thurs because they want my mom and dad to come in first to go over the bill on want they have to pay before they do the surgery and go over the rehab and what happens later on down the road. The big deal is my mom is also diabetic, so she has to watch that also. So we should know when the surgery is going to be, I hope tomorrrow after they go into PT. services. She has her surgery tomorrow morning at 8am, she goes into the hospital tonight at midnight so they can prep her for the surgery in the morning, it will be 4-6 hour surgery and 48 hours in ICU then 5 days in the hospital , I have so much anxiety right now, I don't think I'll sleep at all tonight. Great news , she had the sugery and is doing well in ICU, and will be there for 2-3 days. She was swollen and had all kinds of tubes sticken out of her , but they said thats normal and she should be lookin better in 2 days or so. Then 5 days in the hospital.
