Yo, this whole thread is BS. If your gf really is hot on you, you will never have anything to worry about. This dud is just blowing smoke. If she is hot on him, you won't change that and let her fly cause you won't change that either. You can't change how she feels.
He has a quick ride, and you know it. So WTF? He's got a quick ride and he knows it. You're going to a gun fight with a knife if you race him - and he knows it. Tell him he has a quick car and be done with it. If you have a secret weapon under your hood, that's different. A V6 Camaro is going to be tough to get 11s without some long $$$$$.
If you have an 11 sec timeslip from Esta, go down to the boulevard and race him this Saturday night in front of the crowd. If you have a 13 sec timeslip, stay away. End of story.

There was a guy on Pass time who had a Stealth AWD, said he was running 35 PSI pulled out a whopping 14.1-14.3 time couldn't drive to save his life or was BS, pretty bad, the car he ran against was a older RX7 with a upgraded GT42 turbo and he ran a 12.1, it was where they had to combine times for the win. So you never know how it is going to come out , but if you don't want to race don't, you shouldn't need to prove anything to anyone. It's not a fair race, just tell him to take his turbo off and lets go to the track like MAD MAX suggested and race in front of a crowd. It wouldn't be hard for him to disconnect the hot side from the TB and run a filter on it, for a 1/4 mile. With his turbo out his car would be like racing a Geo Metro.LOL But if you don't race esp. on the street your a smarter person for doing so, too many things can go wrong and just end up in the news like all the other kids who thought street racing was cool until something goes wrong. Or just tell him you only race sport coupes not 4 Dr. grocery getters.LOL

As much as I would like to whore out pics of her I think I'll keep you all in suspense for a little longer. As far as I know, its completely stock. The kids got money so he buys big and doesnt need to get his hands dirty. So stock evo 9 mr runs mid 12s. I've got a 75 wet shot like i said, on top of that I'm supercharger pushing about 7psi right now. Trans-go shift kit and 2500 stall. Others include headers, exhaust, blah blah blah. Only reason I say I cant catch him is because I havent had that chance of putting a posi rear end in so im working with only 1 back wheel. Having lots of trouble hooking up so I can't whomp on the gas and have to settle for like half to 3/4 throttle

If it makes you feel any better i have a 98 firebird 5-speed with small mods and i beat a stock evo, not with power but with skill the guy did not really now how to drive stick or power shift so i definatly beat him by a car length with traffic.
