We have dry days up until July then it's monsoon season where it clouds up and then we have humidity and heat for about a month or 2 , sometimes it rains for a sec. and stops so will have 100% humid and over 100 degress heat. I love AZ because we have no worries about earth quakes, mud slides, snow , flash flooding 99.9% , fires 99% ,tornados or hurricanes but the heat does suck 6 months out of the year. It sucks because you can't even work in the garage with a fan because it is too hot. I've been thinking about a portable A/C unit like a 12,000-14,000 BTU to put in there to help cool off the temps, so I can get some work done. If you had a office job you would be fine, but working out in the heat it drains you quick. So I guess it would depend on the job.

What medication are you taking?

There's a medication that my wife's take which makes the heat and the sun bad for her.

It's a 100 over here too. But if it wasn't for the wind it would have been intolerable.

It's a 100 over here too. But if it wasn't for the wind it would have been intolerable.

I take blood thinners , but they actually make me colder, before the stroke we set the A/C at 76 at night or day depending when I worked and slept, now it is at 78-79 becuase its too cold for me. But the 4000mg of Robaxin I take, it makes me have like a hot flash after taking 1000 mg.at a time also the Oxycotin 40mg. at a time makes a difference, thats about the 3 out of 13-14 meds I take that I noticed side effects from.

It hit 103 today already here in Phoenix,AZ and it will still be 91 degrees at 9 PM tonight. It's just to hot , I live in hell.LOL
The 110+ temps are going to kill me this summer.

I hate Colorado we went from having Snow every friday night to being in hell almost overnight!. I'm seriously considering relocating.

AZ isn't bad as long as you can take the heat, most prople adjust in about a year. I have lived here most my life so nothing new to me except when that 104 came up today. And maybe the increased meds.LOL

We get like 3-4"'s of rain a year if were lucky in PHX and surrounding areas. Whats rain?LOL

Wow in non summer months I usually get that much before noon.

97* today... 32% Humitity... Thats supper low, usually 95%..

Were 100 out with 8% humidity, I guess thats one plus, but in Aug. is the worst some clouds always says its going to rain but no rain mostly, being 110 out and 100% humid. but its only a month or so. I would say AZ is about the one of the safest places to live without any natural disasters.

see its not the 110 degree during the day time that bothers me, (well ok it does suck) but it's when it's STILL 100 degrees at midnight that pisses you off!!!

I know I would, Im ready to move from here. This heat is killing me. When the wind blows, its like someone just turned a heater on high and put it in my face. :bs:

Its only for a month or 2 like that called our monsoon season where we are suppose to get rain but don't 99% of the time so the humidity is high no rain and still hot as hell. Yeah the 100 degrees at midnight really sucks like Meatyshells said, but the other 6 months out of the year is great.

Yeah. This is getting old... rain all week. Maybe a clear day on Saturday for the annual cruise, if the area isn't flooded.
