i have been working in construction/ac/auto biz since i was 15, now that im unemployed and dont have to work in the heat, im not gonna!

Buying from a place like the one you described is simply unintelligent. Sleazy, low-end places do not care where they bought the car from. They're only interested in turning product and making cash.

If I were you, I'd worry about the cost of the legal bills. Sorry, I didn't feel like reading through the 49-page thread, but if you've been charged you will not be in any legal trouble in the end, assuming your story is true, and you did not knowingly purchase a stolen vehicle. Hire a good lawyer if you can, but a public defender will work if the prosecutor decides to charge you.

Good luck if you're innocent. Otherwise, the sentiment is retracted.
