This is just my opinion... you don't have to change anything, I just figured I would make it heard.

You guys really need to stop whoring up threads. All that it is doing is encouraging forum participation by the same small group of people. It is going to turn new members off quite drastically, IMO. Minus those of you who are noobs and just want a high post count, the new members who join to actually post substantive stuff and learn from this site are not going to want to post if they know their threads are just going to be ruined instantly.

Not to mention it makes our maturity appear to be nonexistent. I don't care if you guys actually ARE 14 years old, try to be slightly mature. When the content of the site is so juvenile, it is going to turn away some older members and those members that aren't interested in the petty BS that some of these threadjacks consist of.

I know you think its funny, but its getting quite annoying. I know that I personally have been very turned off by it, and I'm sure that there are many others. I am willing to bet that most of the others simply left, rather than taking the time to explain their grievances. I figured I would do that much though, at least to explain why, IMO, this site may potentially go down the drain.

I think if we could somehow get the chat option back, it might help to be an appropriate outlet rather than bloating threads with off-topic substance. But I don't exactly see that happening in the near future.

^there were only 2 whore threads, and both were useless when they were posted, i would not purposefully ruin a good thread

That's the reason why I love this site is because it is friendly to others. We may disagree from time to time, but we still remain respectful. Other messageboards are just plain thrash talking and attacking each other.

Its been a trend for a while now. Those 2 that you are talking about were just plain outrageous. There have been a few others recently, didn't get as bad though.

As I said, its just my opinion. I just figured I would explain why I personally haven't been posting much, which can also explain the decline in active members that we have seen.

Right under that, it says "USER LISTS" which opens a drop down menu, and you can pick IGNORE USER

+1 thats why joined, and nowhere else.

i think the decline has more to do with the fact tht all fbody cars are now at least 7 years old and many ppl do not want older cars. also many ppl who buy v6 fbodys do not care about the car, let alone join a message board. and i could be wrong but i bet many older members have simply moved on.

on the up side, we have got like 5 new members in the past week.

i wont whore up any good threads..... but we do need a chat
