Yeah.. what was the ban even for? Welcome back ya wiener.

Oh yeah and SSMS, i'm almost done with my **** turbo piping redo job. I totally have this feeling even with the under K setup I'll be investing in some oval pipes as you have done. I would make them myself.. But I've been putting in enough hours on redoing everything as it is. And I don't have a chop saw. I've been using a metabo trying to get angles right by free handing it on these damn pipes. What I would do for a chop saw... My finger would be pain free right now too.

Just get a sawzaw, or a circular saw that bolts down to a bench. Also a grinder works great also. As soon as I finish the bigger radiator and this damm ing. problem I'm going to have the turbo shop do my turbo pipes and tig up everything for me so I can finish this up here soon, I will have to drop my car off for a few days so they can mock up the pipes and weld them so it can go into peices so I can take it apart and then put it all back together when I get home with the downpipe going to the exsisting exhaust. I have all the pipping. Then just run the oil lines, coolant lines hook up EGT. I'm too tired to do the pipping, I cn set it up in my garage if it is already planned out and ready to go in. If I have some oval piping left which I should, since I bought to much, I'll sell them to ya Blizz.

You're lucky you have the money to let someone else do the piping. It is really a huge pain in the ***. Heck yeah, i'll buy some oval pipes from ya. I just don't like what I have now. It'll do. If I don't go over any speed bumps. I'll really know what i get the car back on the ground though.

Re: Chat it up, in here.

The oval pipes save 3/4" , the 3" pipes are 2 1/4" in height plus the 2-3" from the TUB K makes for a great improvement. I like the under K idea better since all the heat won't be in the engine bay its under the car and getting air to cool them down. Then the longer pipes helps cool the exhaust going to the turbo. I could of went with FFF setup but I thought it over and didn't want the heat in the engine bay, gets hot enough in the summer here. I don't think it will be too much for them to mock up the pipes and tig weld them up, maybe $500 to $800 at the most I'm thinking since he offered to do the tig welding for me when I bought the turbo from him.

Well maybe I'll be alright with what I have.. cause I stopped scraping after I put on the larger wheels.. and if there's seriously a 2-3" difference from the TUB K, i'll really be fine. I'll really be able to tell when I get the car off the jacks here in a day or 2. And, I'm also on stock springs with no plan of lowering. It already feels like it's freakin been lowered. Dunno.

Removing the front bumper and plastic weighed a good amount, along with the coolant resivoir it made up for the intercooler(19lbs) and piping. I'm going to make a cover to go over the front end of mine so it traps the air inside so the fans can suck the hot air out. my Dad pointed it out to me, and I happen to have some ABS plastic on hand so will see how that turns out. Still waiting on my Ign. parts. Damm
