That car looks O.K. except for the ground effects are too much and the metal peice on the fuel tank door looks terrible. Why make a post saying you want to delete your account, thats pretty stupid, email a mod and just leave instead crying out for help. Man-up Damm.......
that gas door is sweet IMO. its no just a metal peice, he took the one from i think the eclipse and made it work. its clean as hell. he doesnt own it anymore anyways, last time i talked to him he was in a newer cts-v
current car- 95 Trans am- bolt ons, parked and collecting dust. why? because **** it

Agreed. I remember seeing how it was done. He actually took it from an eclipse and made it work. It looks a lot better in other pictures (which I can't find right now).
We did lose quite a few original poster here. Most members here are the newbies. This happens with EVERY car. Look at 350Z forums. When they first came out they were 35K. Forums were filled with great mature posters. Now 6 years later, every high school kid has one.
But still, this is one of the best V6 camaro forum out there. Steve take this as a hobby NOT a profession (as he already has a job). I have been to other forums and their site is simply too busy with fancy graphics and such. I like the simplicity of this forum.
It's definitely flooded with newbs posting excessive and useless crap, but I'm still partial to the site as it really did get me into the scene and I've learned so much from it. I'm hoping things will turn around and we can get make a turn for better.
i think what you've done with your camaro is quite impressive and you've earned a great reputation around the boards so it would be a shame to see you go. it's clear that the forum has changed a bit, but most new members will, over time, mature into knowledgable supporters that can uphold the quality of this site.
i knew my fair share about f-bodies even before i joined cv6, but since i've joined this site i really have grown a lot as an enthusiast and still pick up new knowledge daily, and i attribute that to the long standing members and friendly ppl here. it would be a shame to see yourself or anyone else leave over some mindless chatting and threads gone off on wild tangents---it just comes with the territory of an open forum.
give things another chance man, bc if all the veterans start leaving, this place will fold up like a circus tent.
I remember when I joined a few years ago and thought I knew alot, but a few people put me in my place pretty quickly... I realized that I had alot to learn about my car, as well as how to act on a forum... anyone who's new and hasn't figured it out yet, soon will... I still learn something new pretty much every time I get on here...
Rebuilding the engine... Building a custom front end... T-top conversion... Custom rear hatch..
Custom interior...

if you want a bad forum go to fbody.com and look around their v6 section....its strictly bashing of one another. the only bashing i see much of here is of magic lotto machine man. this site does have a ton of great info and motivated fbody owners. i would encourage you to stick around and continue contributing!
Hey guys. For starters I’ve always been a big car guy, I love all types of cars and can appreciate all types of engineering. I’ve always been a Chevy...
