thats one reason all the anger has broke out, newbs have been feeling like they gotta defend themselves agains older members. like then i couldnt tell if you were joking or not, i havent seen your posts till just the other day, granted i havent been here for long. for all i know you could be another smokepanther...if blizzard said something like that, i would know it was in good fun, but when you said it, i took it the wrong way...and its not like i say dizzy, im just to lazy to spell it out, sorry.

I hope you didn't just call me smokepanther. As for the newbs having to defend themselves, well, yeah, you're going to have to for some time. You have over 1,400 posts in a little over a year, so that only tells me that not everything you are saying is technical related. Ive been on this board for 8 years now, I don't even have 5k yet. Just because you talk and can respond alot to threads doesn't mean that you don't have to defend yourself to the people who have put in the real time and experience with this board and cars. Think about it, me and alot of others have been working on these cars since you were roughly 10 years old, do you think we need to be told how to do things?

no i didnt call you smokepanther, lol. he is just one to not correct people, and start harrassing them. yeah, he knows what he is talking about, and other people are usually posting stupid crap when he does it. when i was new, i dont think i ever got "dissed" on (oh yea, i used the word dissed) everyone was real cool and just corrected me if i was wrong.

and secondly, just cause im young and you dont know me, and havent read but one post that i made, you assume that "act" like i know what im talking about more than i actually do, and post bogus info...its not up to me to defend myself on actually knowing, what i post in the techincal threads is where the meat is at.

And yes, 1400 post in less than a year is alot. Cause i like this site, i spend alot of time here, mainly in the louge bs-in it up with other folks.

He brings the bad atitude from FTV6 over on this website, trying to put down others, I guess it makes him fell better about himself, they do that alot over on FTV6 if you not in the click over there.

I dunno...all I see is he blatently points out peoples stupidity sometimes...no need for people to really get all offensive about it... I read a TON on this site, and others...I ask questions on things I dont understand, I've never once been put down or ridiculed by anyone...Smoke has responded to several of my threads in the past (among others) and I have gotten nothing but help from him (and many others). Most of the time when I see someone shot down in any way...it is because they have asked a question that has been asked a billion times before....I mean, search there topic and you will get more then 15 pages of results on here kind of thing... I have never once seen him shoot someone down that has asked a legitimate question that hasn't been covered in detail...

Try to remember to that certain topics get brought up in the lounge area for people to discuss, and not everyone will agree with what each other are saying...This doesn't mean we should be at each others throats...everyone has a difference of opinion, just because someone doesnt agree with you on a topic, doesn't make them a douche bag...

Smoke is a ****, plain and simple. He is knowledgeable, but not as helpful from what I remember, and there are differences between the two. He does know what he's talking about, but the way he comes off to people will no longer be tolerated, as well as anyone else that wants to act like that.

smoke has a lot of knowledge about cars, especially v6 camaros, and he is respectable for that
