What a crock of sh*t.
Back story, in September I was in a company car (Mercedes 2009 CLK350 Cabriolet) and got hit from behind at 40 mph - resulting in me having spinal surgery... but both my wife and I survived as Mercedes are AWESOME!
While in recovery I wanted my wife to be safe so I got her a 2009 Mercedes ML320 diesel.
Fast forward to May I took delivery of a Mercedes 2009 C300 4matic for me.
3 weeks later I got OWNED! I was driving along and a jack@ss decided to make an illegal u turn across 4 lanes of traffic - he didn't look - never signaled - just floored it.
Me and my new car were punted by an Infinite SUV into oncoming traffic. I tried my best to avoid the Infinite but because he floored it into my path, I got owned. He hit me on the passenger side rear door. The door is owned, rear quarter panel owned, rear differential owned, wheel n tire owned.
I was taken to the hospital via ambulance, backboared and neck braced as I was suffering from neck pain (spinal surgery was december).
I'm ok - just whip lash and aggrevated the surgery but nothing broken.
As for the car..... body shop estimate is up to $10,000. I expect this estimate to go up significantly once the car gets back to the dealer. It is a all wheel drive car and the wheels don't turn - they are locked.
As for pictures..... I gotta find them - I'll post them later.
As with everything in life - when there is bad, there is always good.

I wish it was an R/T.... but I'm over it. I'm going to the track this Friday ;)
I really hope it is totaled as the wifey says I can get an R/T ;)
