Yeah, things are rough for alot of us right now. I got the G8 GT back in January. First payment was due Feb 16, I got laid off on Feb 13th. Lol. I did a little quick math over a job too. I'm gettin $660 every two weeks from unemployment after tax. Target is hiring for 8 bucks an hour (which is more than the fast food in the area). After two 40 hour weeks, that's $640 before they take out taxes. Sure, I'll be working, and unemployment will make sure that I get the difference, but it just rediculously overcomplicates things when we have to file taxes again. It's not worth it to take a low paying job.... after taxes, fuel, wear and tear on the vehicle, and lunch food costs, I would be losing money, and the time to apply and chase decent jobs.

target isn't worth the 8 dollars an hour. I did that for 3 weeks, and couldn't take facing shelves all day long. They literally made me face all the shelves in one section of the store (65-80 shelves) for 10 hours straight. All I did was go back and reface the damn shelves, and watch little old ladies come in and ruin my hard work.
My wife lost her's at the end of April, $50k a year. Unemployment is giving her $392 a week, until it runs out. Now I am helping with 2 house payments (anybody want to buy one?), a land payment, a truck payment and all the utilities. At least I can work up to 20 hours a week o/t. Been at my job just over 17 years, I'm on top of the food chain, 25 people below me that have the opportunity to get laid off before I do.

Lol, nice... I know what ya mean man. I worked at Circuit City for a few months back in 05-06.
It wouldn't be worth it to me if I lived in an apartment right above Target and they gave me free food. Of course, my attitude may change when the money runs out and I can't make any payments....
I don't know how we got to putting up raciest posts from the other page. Not cool, I never liked that word and don't use it at all. Is there another banner you can put up that is alittle more respectfull.

i think fast food is always hiring. better than mooching off the gov.
not even close...fast food might pay you 300 a week if your lucky and work your *** to the ground to get it...unemployment will pay you a hell of a lot more, and give you the oppurtunity to have the time to put together a good resume, and find a job that pays equal or more then your previous job...Thats why you pay into it, and that's why it's there...so that when you loose your job, you collect until you can find yourself a better or comprable one...not so you can take it in the *** and go flip french fries for 1/4 of what you were making before...
