Yes Jackson AKA Relaxin Jackson is a mixed basic (Male and Female) so the DS has to go alittle easier on you. Or so ive heard. I went to Ft. Benning for basic and AIT (11B) but then after i was wounded i had to switch my MOS to 77F (Petroleum Spec.) and went to Ft. Lee AKA Ft. Leisure. However since it took me 6 months to recover from my injurys i ended up being pushed into a Medical discharge under Honorable.
The military is a great life and i wish i could have stayed in, you should enjoy it.

That would be my first preference.

I was told it was less then 25% chance of getting your commission even if you have a bachelors. How could you do that with just an associates? I would much rather go this route.... :D

Re: military people, whats your MOS

I went to meps yesterday and i am actually too skinny to be in the army. i weighed in at 116 and my minimum weight is 121...i got temporarily dq'd for 30 days to gain weight and come back for a reweigh. i talked to my requiter who found the new way of doing it was that as long as i dont have a medical condition or problem such as anorexia that causes me not to be able to gain weight then i am supposed to be able to get in the army. so he got together with the sergeant at meps and had an exemption or exception or something sent to the sergeon general at fort knox, i should know soemthing within 72 hours. if it gets signed off on then i go back next week for my security interview, and if it doesnt get signed off then i go back in 30 days for my reweigh....im so pissed.

I just graduated from Marine boot camp on the 10th, and now I'm home for my 10 days of leave. My MOS is 1371 combat engineer. I'm going to apply for OCS once I get MCT and my MOS school done and out of the way.
