I just wanted to introduce myself to all of you. I'm a 60 year old guy that never grew out of playing with cars. As a matter of fact, my wife just joined the "car-freak" hobby about six years ago. I recently purchased a 96 Firebird to revamp and give to my grand-daughter. Because of her age (she too was born in 96), I have a little time between now and the time she starts driving. The user name is derived from her name. She is also a motor-head, and I felt it was time to get her a "cool ride" of her own. She visits in the summer and has no qualms about doing mechanical things to cars she likes. She started at age three and has gotten really good at show detailing. We're starting an engine change on the 3800 Firebird and I know questions will arise because I try to stay away from computer-controlled cars. Thats how the cars of today are, so I've got to adapt. Thanks ahead of time for listening (and probably solving) all the questions I'll probably post.
