how exactly can i put my own avatar up? i went to user cp & tried, but i couldnt upload my own, so im wondering how to do that! thanks in advance.

Uhhhhh. Unless it is a supporting member function, go to the "avatar" option under the user CP tab. Scroll towards the bottom, and you will be able to do it.

Speaking of... I need to change mine. Think it was Mogobs that made it this a few years back, lol.

Steve failed to mention, that you need to pay $10/year to get that, if you wanted to put your own avatar up
