Re: What the hell? What do you think?
I still haven't seen the video just got back in from working on the car, anyone find the video, the article says the new Camaro is selling really great, but I don't think their selling them to mostly gay people. Why not make a regular ad for it like the old school adds, like the Pontiac driving down the road, it was black and looked bad@ss. I think it was the WS6 commerical. Come on GM, for the love of God.............08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake
96' Camaro M5 to A4 conversion, alot of mods . GT35R Turbo full suspension. Built engine

Re: What the hell? What do you think?
what? they just trying to make a buck, and let that many more dealers jack (pun intended here) up the prices over sticker, especially those who are slated to close soon
but then, like the most recent GTO, make the price so much more over sticker, and peeps will go elsewhere (dodge or f*rd).
now THAT is ghey1978 Formula 461 in progress of being built

I wonder if people are placing their orders before or incase they stop making them so they would be a rare car 1 day.08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake

Re: What the hell? What do you think?
its really the only way you can get one right now. most places have one for sale and the other is a display/owners of the lot car.
we had a RS and a RS SS. the SS didnt last 2 days and it was sold.

I don't know about that. I was at the Habor Bay last Saturday and I saw hundreds of Camaros, along with BMW, Mercedes, Toyotas, Hondas and such just sitting there waiting to be picked up. They created a lot for these new cars and put a wire fench around them.
They were over stocks and the dealers who are no longer doing business and are trying to get rid of their inventories so they can close up are not picking them up.
Just in my area alone 5 GM dealerships have closed up. Only one is open which is Singh Chev., which is said to be the largest chevy dealership in the state. Pretty sad, there's a lot of empty lots here.

Re: What the hell? What do you think?
im sure they'll get moved to new lots that need them soon. cant blame the car for being there if the dealership was shady and people didnt like buying from them. there's a reason they got the ax and its safe to say there werent good at what theyre supposed to do.

In my area which is the Inland Empire there's a 12% unemployment rate and I'm part of that. A lot of small businesses here have closed down. Only restaurants are up, but they are not doing too good.

Re: What the hell? What do you think?
GM has made some stupid moves with closing dealerships as well though. Here in Oregon, GM decided that they are closing the ONLY GM dealership in the middle of the state, that served a good 5+ somewhat major cities in the area. Now the closest Chevrolet dealerships for people in said cities will have to drive 5+ hours just to get to a Chevy dealership, which obviously means even the hardcore Chevy people will look into what's available in the area, which will be just about everything but GM.
