I hope so. Or people can't afford them and that's why many dealership are resorting to closing down.
In my area which is the Inland Empire there's a 12% unemployment rate and I'm part of that. A lot of small businesses here have closed down. Only restaurants are up, but they are not doing too good.
resturaunts are booming here. people dont work so they go out and get wasted.

Usually the owners of the dealership say if they are going to shut it down because their not making any profit anymore, I know Buzz Sands here in AZ just opened his new dealership about 2 miles from me and there doing great business on the service side , from talking to the Director I know but sales are O.K. he said, but the service side usually makes the most money for a dealer, thats why they try to sell people power steering flushes and Decarbonizers depending on what they want to do that week. Service people will try to sell anything they can with people, its pretty sad listening to them say well the mechainic said he would recommend this and that.
Another trick is they will spray oil around differentials and rear seal, after my dad retired they tried to do that to my brothers S-10 Blazer after they changed the oil in it, but my Dad caught it, after looking at it and said thats a old trick, went out and had the bottom degreased and my Dad drove it 50 miles came back home not a leak. The lube / oil guys get a kick back off of referals if more work is done to the vehicle, pretty sad. My Dad said he never ran the dealerships that way and would fire the mecahanics if they did so. Got alot more business from returning customers knowing they weren't getting ripped off.
