Yup, it's a sad day.
I actually sold it about a week ago and the guy finally picked it up today.
I've had the car since 1998.
I've had the chance to get in a bunch of magazines:
GM High Tech twice
Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords
High Performance Pontiac - cover shot and 3 page article
Made tons of friends through the car
Made tons of passes down the 1/4 mile with it
Held a bunch of records for a while
12.1 was a great time for 315 rwhp
Spun to a 1.58 60 ft - I just couldn't figure out the right suspension
Curb weight - well, it is probably 2720 lbs now? And, if I had the time and money, I would have expected to see 25XX
Was #1 fastest for ages.
And now it is gone.
As for the new owner..... he is a hard core f body guy. He buys, sells, parts out f bodies all the time.
His intentions with the car - well, expect to see it again ;)
That's it for now..... I'm going back to my game (Overlord 2)
