    Flaming,

    i figured you could use some tips for getting bulked up, we can't just let you head to training without a lil help breaking 130 on the scale lol.

    fortunately i know there are some fellow iron pumpers on the site, and i was in your position when i was headed to college so i know what can help pack it on. i went into freshman year at about 6'4 and 155lbs, and couldn't bench my own bodyweight if my life depended on it (yes, embarrassing), and by my junior year I was playing club basketball and training to walk onto the college football team at tight end or receiver at a solid 6'6" 235lbs and benching close to 400lbs before i started racking up sports injuries.

    so trust me, dont waste your money on all kinds of pills and gimmicks like that link you posted, but stick to a high protein diet, drink 50g whey protein (2 scoop) shakes with milk 4x a day, take some creatine and hit the weights with lower-rep, high intensity power, and visit your local gmc for supporting supplements like bcaa's, glutamine, vitamins, etc. im living proof it works.

    and im sure a few others can throw in their .02

    Just eat like a man.

    Here is one of my typical meals... As you can see, stupidly high protein intake.

      waiting for mighty.....


      first off you just don't want to put on weight....you want it to be healthy muscle. so you need to work out and eat right. if you want muscle your gonna wanna do more lifting and weights with a little cardio.

        weight should come in the form of muscle, yes, not just mass. usually in a problem like his (and i was exactly the same) if you do too much cardio and running, you'll notice very little weight change and just look a bit more ripped from lifting. i got more than enough cardio with sports and swimming after i lifted, and usually lifted 6 days a week to get where i got. believe it or not, i would actually have to stop running bc i would drop weight like crazy---which is probably what would happen to flamingchicken.

        i didn't go from 155 to 235 of just mass---i was single digit body fat and strong as an ox. exactly what the armed forces would make him.

          I would love to spend like 4 months trying to build good heavy muscle, but i have less than 30 days, and as much as i have been eating, im acutally down to 114, cause i go and work it right out of my system.

          Right now, i am drinking 3 50g shakes a day, and working out 3 times a week. My routine is to focus on big muscles ie: legs and arms, the ones that grow when i work em.

            I DID IT! im in the army now. i weighed in at 118, i didnt make the minimum weight, but my BMI was high enough. i am so excited...once i get the money i am going to continue on my weight gain cycle cause i have to be a little bit heavier when i go to basic.

                    1. im not even italian, im greek
                    2. i dont have any tattoos
                    3. i dont have any piercings

                    and flaming, if u wanna bulk up, eat twice as much as you normally do and do low rep HIGH weight workouts. u might become a guido tho for the simple reaon u are in shape and take pride in your appearance as opposed to being a ****in redneck slob.

                            BTW, I love being a redneck slob. My strength comes from a hard days work. Ive seen weightlifters that can't hack it on a job carrying simple things like pipe. I don't have the best body, but then again, I have an awesome personality and a big peeper, not much else I need.
