So this weekend was pretty weird, Had to work saturday morning, but we were so slow I detailed my truck, wash n wax, vac, shine, windows etc.. Not even that good of a job... but it looked great.
Saturday night, we went to the local once a month car show downtown, about 800 cars each time, and me and two of my buddies took our trucks and entered them, (costs $3 to enter, and goes to charity) so we can keep our beer coolers in the back and not have to pay ridiculous prices at the bars while walking around the show.
So it was my truck and two of my buddies trucks, and I opened my hood, left the windows open to show off the moniter and program I run etc... and had a spec sheet on it in the dashboard. Well after walking around the area, and walking back to the truck for beer, there was alot of interest in my truck.
Toward the end of the night, I had a business card on my gauge cluster with a phone number, said call me.
I called him, reluctantly, not knowing what it was about... but the guy said he wanted to buy my truck, and to name my price. I told him I wasnt ready to sell it yet, but I'd keep him in mind, and he said he'd pay me cash.
Ive gotta say, its tempting, but Im pretty sure I wont do it.
Then, sunday, a few friends and I decided to take my boat out, including out G/F's and my dog.. and when we were getting ready to launch, my dog was sitting in the boat, and some random lady comes up telling me how much she liked my dog, and he was "so handsome" and such a "good boy" etc.
Thats not really uncommon, but then she asked if I had ever considered getting rid of him (no way) and that her family would just looove him so much. I said no, Im not selling my dog. She said, "I'd make it worth it" and I responded with, no amount of money would make me want to sell my friend...
So we put the boat on the ramp, and it wouldnt start, go figure... The starter locked up almost as soon as I cranked it. So that pist me off, So we pulled off the ramp, and parked in the loading area, I pulled the cover off the motor to check it out, and she came up to me again and told me that I'd have extra money to fix my boat if I sold the dog, and I very rudely told her to "get fuccked", followed by her storming away giving me a dirty look.
So that was my weekend, just thought it was kind of weird.
