you are such an idiot it blows my mind. the ls9 is a pussy engine
a few thousand dollars in that engine will get it up to 900hp easy
a cam change and upping the blower to 15psi will give you around ~750hp
open the exhaust, change the intake, a more aggressive cam and a head change will net you way over 900hp for only a few thousand
crazy enough, i agree with you for a change lol
None if this^ is a reference. And btw, I'm not saying I believe him. I just like to back people into corners.
its all theory at this point, since theyre in the hands of very few and even fewer who are willing to actually tear into it.
but for reference, lingenfelters car puts down 739 RWHP & 720 RWTQ on the stock blower with:
Stock LS9 cylinder heads & short block
Stock LS9 exhaust manifolds and cat back exhaust system
- LPE 8.5” diameter harmonic balancer – 11 rib
- LPE 2.60” diameter supercharger pulley – 11 rib
- Lingenfelter S&B air filter
- 4” diameter air intake tube with mass air sensor
- Ported stock throttle body
- Intercooler supercharger inlet modifications
- Double capacity intercooler heat exchanger
- Larger capacity intercooler reservoir system
tell me a upgraded blower like a kenne bell, worked over heads, more agressive cam, long tubes and good tuning wont make the power. and thats without touching a single internal other than the cam.
or you could just pull the supercharger, use (i think) a l76 intake mani, and a APS kit and call it a day.

i dont displike you.
but i really do think we should all come to terms with this whole doggin on me crap.
i say what i say for a reason.
ill give you all the proof in the world.
i dont know why you all hate me.
i dont dislike you either, and i have no problem with anyone on this forum as long as they dont give false information.
i have no bashed you in this thread because it is your opinion about not liking the ls9 engine and im not here to disrespect someones opinion.
i have gotten bashed on this forum before for expressing my opinion, but i have never posted false information, and if i am unsure of a subject, i will say so before i make my post to let the person im trying to help know that i am unsure but that is what i think may be wrong with his/her car
you posted in another thread that someones coolant temp sensor may be acting weird, and i didnt post in that thread telling you that you were wrong, because it is a possible cause, but when you say stuff like changing a connecting rod is stroking an engine, it is wrong, stroking an engine has nothing to do with the connecting rods, you dont have to change the connecting rods when you stroke an engine unless it is a very extreme stroke, and even then you may not have to.
im not insulting your intelligence because i can see that you know about cars, but a lot of the things you say gives a wrong impression, and just because something happened to you and worked doesnt mean it will work for everyone, and thats what you have to understand
you tell me that i am pulling stuff out of my rear when what i posted was 100% correct, i have been working with and around engines and cars for over 15 years now, i am currently building two race engines for my camaro, i know what i am doing, and i find it hard to believe that someone would tell me im wrong and i need to read a book because i am positive i am right
wow...cam98ro. you are right. and im sorry for posting things that give off the wrong impression.
ill from now on. read over what i type and make sure it all makes sence. (from a different perspective.)
but yea. i mean im only 19 years old.
im not a master. but i do know quite a bit.
i just word it the wrong way.
and sorry.
i just thought that stroking an engine involved the crank and the connecting rods...
i mean. if you have 110,grand to blow on a corvette.
would you or would you not?
get a zr1 and have no money left for mods?
or get a z06 for 72,000 (base) and spend the extra 28,000.00 on mods for the ls7?
i mean. im sure 28 grand is gonna get you alot more than 638 hp. (with a 505hp stock engine)
because theyre idiots? you dont need a ls7 to put down good numbers dude. its not the end all be all ****ing motor. fact of the matter is ive seen more fast cars use LQ series motors than ls7s.

Hey guys. For starters I’ve always been a big car guy, I love all types of cars and can appreciate all types of engineering. I’ve always been a Chevy...
