Yeah, just look at that, then think about a ~1.4 trillion dollar budget for this year alone....

Just a bit of perspective. If you spent a dollar per second it would take you ~32,000 years to spend 1 trillion dollars.

there are more numbers there than i would want to look at in a lifetime. the sad thing is that when this country started... we had no IRS and no deficit. wow, things really went downhill over the last 200 plus years.

It's called greed... The world is over run with it... :tdown: If the government really wanted to boost the economy, instead of giving millions and billions of $'s to big corps. and banks, they should of gave at least thousands to the people if not 10's of thousands.... Now that... Would have boosted the economy. Debts would have been paid, people would have went out and spent the money... But, no.. It's better to give to the banks and other large corps, so that way they can slide some right back under the table(wonder what happened to all that money they have no idea to where it went... You know 100's of million is so easy to misplace)... Sad part is. Even if they would have given each person several thousand $'s or heck a couple 10's of thousands of dollars... It would not have been as much as the current bail-out, and would have been way more effective. But hey, maybe I'm wrong... It's my opinion and it doesn't matter anyways.

It's all about greed, and that's all it's ever about. If anyone thinks the government gives a true care about the people, then go ahead and think it... Maybe one day your eyes will open. They want money, that's why they keep adding taxes on everything, plus everything seems to keep getting higher and higher, like energy bills, food, and well just everyday living expenses. Yet wages stay the same. Why is this, companies know they can get by with it.

But, oh well, I can go on this forever, and it doesn't matter really, the world will be what it will be... I'll just live on, in hopes GOD will take care of things before long. If not, oh well, just make the best of it, live right, take life as a gift and a test and look forward to the day one gets to be in GOD's kingdom.
