John Barry, the popularizer of WD-40 dies at the age of 89... he actually died July 3rd, but I just saw it on the news today...

WD-40 which stands for Water Displacement formula of the 40th attempt. It was originally designed by a division of General Dynamics as a rust-preventing solvent for the aeorspace industry. The makers of WD-40 estimate that their product can be found in around 80% of American homes and has over 2,000 uses... (just a little trivia for ya)

John Barry is the main person who it made popular for use in homes and not just in the industry it was designed for...

You know back then I thought there was something wrong with the power window's motor of my Firebird. I sprayed it with WD40 and it was fix.

I also use this stuff to remove the rust on my bicycles.

However, I use it on squeaky brakes, and squeak no more. WD-40 is the shiznit.

I take the cap on the cans of WD-40 to put on my cans of PB Blaster, I then take the WD-40 and throw it away.

i use it to clean crap.

Rusty crank journal? not after i get at it with some double d fourty.

Take the intake off your firebird for the millionth time cause your engine is full of water again, and you dont want the heads to rust? not to worry, just get at it with some double d fourty.

Your vw drivers window gettin stuck at certain point cause its old as hell? just hit it with some ole double d fourty!

Lets see I have used WD-40 on my car doors squeaking, windows and doors in the house, garage door , law mower, TB cable on car, brakes on the car , bolts, spayed black widows, **** roaches.

I carry a can on the trail with me so when I flood out my engine bay on my jeep and she stalls out, squirt it all down with some double D's forty and it gets me goin again
