When I finally get the turbo going on my 3.8 I'll be looking for the LS1 Camaros and Corvettes and Cobras. But right now with a 2900LB car and 3.73' and etc. it is pretty quick, no where near a stock V6 though.
08' L76 6.0L 4X4 Chevy EXT.Cab LTZ Vortec MAX with Snug top cover, Dynomax exhaust,Hptuners& K&N intake
96' Camaro M5 to A4 conversion, alot of mods . GT35R Turbo full suspension. Built engine
Yeah, I wasn't impress at all. I'm not exagerating at all.
If you know me at all you would know my bird is supercharged with lots of bolt ons. :D
I'm almost done with my wife's SUV. Pretty soon my Fiero will be getting the SC 3800 II V6. I'm pretty sure it will pass my Firebird.
I know how it feels like to drive a C5 and I drove a C6 once so I'm hoping my Fiero will pass both.
I agree. Years ago I looked at a 95 TA and drove it. I wasn't impressed. Funny thing is, I saw it at the track about 2 weeks later (a kid bought it) and it was running 14.6's.

if its running 14.6s it isnt running right then. hell ive run better than that with a busted trans mount and letting out a good 100ft before the end of the track.
current car- 95 Trans am- bolt ons, parked and collecting dust. why? because **** it

Spending $1,000 on your car for modifications does not mean it's stock. Anyone can go buy a nitrous kit and do a little exhaust work for that. ;)
14.6?? somethjing is not rite,,,,,come on shirl, step in a v8 and a 6 banger both stock, and see for yourself,, it is normal for a modefied 6 to beat an 8,,,what about a race with your super six and a LE or a AI camaro??? and they are natural aspirated.
hey bib, these guys makes me sell my slowmaro and never come here again,,,,it is what it is,stock vs stock they wont stand a chance,,,and im not fighting you guys,,it simple the truth,,thats why i bought a z,,,, it is like this 3500 dollars for my z and it goes high 13 next is a 3000 dollar v6 with a 4500 supercharger and goes same high 13,,,what im saying is a z is better buck for buck. and with just cam head intake we go 11 and less then 2000 if you assemble it yourself... i love you guys.
Some people just prefer V6's for whatever reason... whether its affordability, adaptability, or whatever... to each their own... It's like my friend has a Corvette, and as much as I'd love to be able to drive a Corvette whenever I wanted, I wouldn't trade my V6 Camaro for it bc of its mpg and passenger/trunk space... among other things, doesn't mean I think that my V6 Camaro is better than a Corvette, but everyone will have their preference for their own reasons... (and they'll defend their decision to the death;))
Rebuilding the engine... Building a custom front end... T-top conversion... Custom rear hatch..
