Air & Space Museum is cool.

All of the war memorials and the cemetery are great opportunities to sit and reflect. There is nothing to do or "see" per se, but take the time to consider the size of the Vietnam Memorial Wall or the number of crosses in Arlington.

I also recommend the Holocaust Museum for adults. We should all be reminded of human kind's mistakes.

The mall is a one day deal. Loads of other stuff though.
