That picture is of the upcoming Mercedes SLS AMG.

It has extensive body cladding from a dodge viper.

I have seen one at work.

Expect both an electric version and approx 600 HP version ;) I've seen the spec's on the car and it will decimate the Mercedes SLR McLaren

I'll see if I can get pictures but they are really keeping this car on lock down
Video of it at the track:

      is this a joke?

the tape is there to hide the cars body lines and styling

There is no line comparison between the 4th gen and that camo'ed SLS. Maybe if you slammed your Camaro in a brick wall a few times, and then rolled it over, you MIGHT get a Mercedes look out of it. Otherwise, lay off the drugs. As for the 2010 Camaro selling, I've been to several dealerships around Oklahoma City, and all of them have the same story. They CAN'T KEEP THEM IN STOCK. There is a GM dealership just up the road from me; I seen at least 12 2010's on the lot at different times, 5 at one time (3 black 2SS's, 1 Victory red 2SS, 1 Silver 2LT, all of them were BEAUTIFUL). Every time I go to look at one, the showroom is filled with buyers. They sell before they arrive, and have to turn people away all the time, and that includes the pre-order customers. Get your fukcing story right, newbee.

When did you get released from Prison? I thought you were in for 30 years
for shooting someone who had expressed a different point of view.
General motors has NEVER had a car that was in perpetual shortage!
When the new Corvette came out they were scarce now you can get
$7000 off sticker if you want one. Insurance firms do not want to insure
Camaros with big V-8's and a 6 speed. They know former inmates and
others will rap them around a tree or a school bus sooner or later so
they refuse insurance or make it super expensive. That's when you will
see them in the paper selling with a few thousand miles...must sell, cannot
afford insurance. When the new T-Bird came out they were hard to get and
ultimately they we discontinued for poor sales...same with the SSR.
Oh, by the way, they say the tatoo on your neck and forehead looks
great....and they will last forever. Prisons are great for that kind of
                art work

You really think the insurance on a Mercedes is going to be any cheaper?
and they also offer a v6 version.....

The target market for this all electric Mercedes is people who will pay $90,000 +
for a car. If you can afford a car in the six figures, you can afford the insurance.
The Mercedes is in a league by itself. I think the styling is more like a 2002 Camaro
with the long front end and other lines. I think a V-8 Camaro will be up to $2000
a month in insurance for drivers under 25.

His parents probably still pay his insurance, so he most likely doesn't know what "high" insurance is.

and I am considering buying a new camaro, I will be financing the car. What would insurance cost me for this car?"
That is the best way to find out...I called GEICO and they quoted me $479 per month
or $2878 (six months ) or for a V-8 6 speed Camaro as a 23 year old single male with one ticket and no accidents. This is with a suburban Florida address! Add it up, that is
$5756 a year for full coverage.
