I had cherry bombs on my van, and they were great... the pipes and tips wore out well before the mufflers did... My van sounded badass, too ;)

more progress pics! pretty much all i have left to do is, make sure the rear arms are lined up good, weld those in place. Then weld the mufflers on and get some exhaust hangers.

Lookin good , I can see your welding getting better as your go, but you'll have to check for leaks once you get it done and started.

            Looking great Meaty!

Are you going to be stopping before the axle as it is now, or continuing on?

Doesnt look like he's using argon, probably welding with a buzzbox and flux core welding wire.

We were talking about the difference of flux like .035 and using gas, looks like the .030 or .035 flux then. I use .035 flux but I have been looking at a tank but they are expensive over $200. I have a Lincoln Pro mig 140 and I think Meaty said he got one too but the newer style one since mine is 3-4 years old.

yeah i have just been using flux cor .035. i guess ill spend the 150 bucks for a gas+tank one day, but for what im doing it works just fine.

^ Yeah. I've been using flux for 4 years, but for my turbo pipes I'm just going to tack them, then have them Tig welded. Theres no way I'm trusting my welds with just flux on turbo pipes.LOL Maybe with gas. They are looking pretty good though Ryan just double check them once mounted, I always had small leaks when I did mine. Also I welded up to 1/4" with .035 flux with no problems. I think with gas the Pro-Mig can weld up to 1/2" of metal , not bad for a 120 V. or like me I like to use a 20 amp on it for safety measures.
