Looks great are you going with turndowns, reminds me of the old school cars I see with the mufllers hanging down, nice.

^ Yeah. I've been using flux for 4 years, but for my turbo pipes I'm just going to tack them, then have them Tig welded. Theres no way I'm trusting my welds with just flux on turbo pipes.LOL Maybe with gas.
Also I welded up to 1/4" with .035 flux with no problems. I think with gas the Pro-Mig can weld up to 1/2" of metal , not bad for a 120 V. or like me I like to use a 20 amp on it for safety measures.
Ive been welding for a long time, and can weld pretty much whatever I need to weld, but I dont trust anything less than 220V...
Ive got a buzz box as well as a 220 miller mig, and my buddy has a hobart mig too, and without 220 and argon I dont trust any welds.... Not even exhaust pipe, they arent strong enough

so i took out my cat one time and welded some pipe in, and one day it decided to give way, wow that was alot of sparks. i dont trust my linclon turd maker anymore...

I've got my turbo pipes all nice and fluxered up. I completely admit that they definitely look like **** welds but the flux wire is all I have. They're holding absolutely fine btw. Been daily driving it for 2-3ish months. And for you who are thinking, "He's got the money for a turbo setup but not a nice welder?" Well f you. I spent all my money on the turbo stuff. And I'm always open to receive free items from those who think I should buy them.
BTW meaty, for flux, those welds look good lol. Good work altogether though.
I've used my flux welder for quite a bit around the garage and though the welds might not be as pretty as TIG or even MIG, the metal stays together just the same... Plus if you wanted to, it's nothing some extra grinding can't smooth out... cheap flux-core wire-feed welders FTW... lol

I dont know what your welding, but Ive welded tow points onto bumpers with a flux core wire, and they rip right off with any pressure, you can take a good size hammer and give them a few hard hits and they will break right off...
Use a 220 mig, and put some stress on them, they wont budge at all... buzz box' mig welders have their place, perfect for things like turbo pipes, exhaust systems etc. because the metal is thin, and wont be tested tough... all they have to do is hold together and not really bond.
Meaty, the exhaust looks great... Post up some sound!
I welded the top and bottom frame of a trailer that carried 3 quads and it held together just fine on the off road and highway. This was with my Lincoln Pro Mig 140 with .035 flux. This was 3 years ago and still holding.
