  • It was bound to happen.

With the recent occurance and unfortunate turn of events with my 1998 Pontiac Firebird V6....I'd like to take this moment to say good bye and she's being put the rest. I don't know exactly what will happen to her..but for now she will be pushed aside and covered up.

Now with the goodbyes of the Firebird, here comes the hellos to her replacement: 1996 Pontiac Firebird Formula, LT1 V8 M6. She has the GU6 RPO and G80. :burn:

I have been without a F-body (Firebird, don't do Camaro's) for 6 months ( in the mid 80's) since 1982. Can't live without them. Also have owned a truck since 1986.

              I love these cars. :burn:

I've been watching out for the opti-spark..since I don't know if it's ever been replaced. The clutch grabs hard and quick. I found out the guy I bought it from said the clutch was replaced before he even bought it. I saw some papers in the glovebox showing it. =) I'm happy.

              But a little sad about my 98 v6. =(

Do an LSX swap into the V6.

                  Congrats!!!

Maybe you should swap the V6's front end to that.

                  Just a thought.

Lol. I've only owned it for 8 days now or so.

and I already tinkered with it. =P

With everything I did ( I won't say all just the obvious ), She's got a nice little rumble out the stock exhaust. I can actually hear it rumbling as I drive it! Woo!!!

here's the obvious things I did:

                            Throttle body bypass.
I basically just cleaned all the way up to the throttle body. Completely cleaned.

and some other intake modifications. =)

As for the V6...I have edit:three offers ( not two ) on it already, I might just let them take it and put the money I get from it back for bills and gas...
